RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
We accept returns and exchanges for eligible products in accordance with this policy and applicable consumer law.

EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase without giving a reason.
For physical goods, the withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods.
To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires. You can submit your request electronically through your customer account:

After submitting an electronic request, you will receive confirmation that your request has been received.
RETURNING AN ITEM
After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the goods within 14 calendar days.
Please wait for return instructions before sending the parcel. Items returned without prior notification may experience processing delays.
Unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.
We recommend using a tracked return service. NIAR HOUSE is not responsible for a return parcel until it has been delivered to us.
Items should be securely packaged and returned with their original tags and packaging, where possible.
You may inspect the product as you would in a physical shop. However, you may be responsible for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product’s nature, characteristics and fit.
EXCHANGES
To request an exchange, submit a request within 14 calendar days of delivery through your customer account or contact info@niarhouse.com.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs for an exchange unless the item received is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Replacement products are subject to availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, an eligible refund will be issued instead.
CUSTOM AND PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s individual specifications or products that are clearly personalised.
This exception may apply to products made to unique measurements, engraved products or products substantially altered at the customer’s request.
The exception does not automatically apply merely because a product is made after an order is placed or because the buyer selects from the standard sizes, colours or options offered in the shop.
Any applicable exception will be clearly communicated before purchase. Your statutory rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods remain unaffected.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS BEFORE FULFILMENT

Cancellation requests are subject to any valid statutory exceptions, including the exception for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
If an order has already been dispatched, it cannot be stopped or cancelled in transit. Where the right of withdrawal applies, you may notify us of your withdrawal and return the product after delivery in accordance with this policy.
DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if the product is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrect, NIAR HOUSE will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law. This may include repair, replacement or refund.
NIAR HOUSE will cover reasonable return and replacement delivery costs where legally required. Please do not return a faulty or incorrect product before receiving return instructions.
REFUNDS
We will notify you after receiving and inspecting your return.
Eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Where required by applicable consumer law, the refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered at the time of purchase. Additional costs resulting from selecting an upgraded or more expensive delivery method are not refundable.
As complimentary Standard Shipping is currently offered, no separate standard outbound shipping charge may appear on your order.
After the refund is issued, your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process and display it.
SALE ITEMS AND GIFT CARDS
Sale items remain eligible for return where required by applicable consumer law, provided they otherwise meet the conditions of this policy.
Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded, except where required by law.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS AND CUSTOMS
International customers must contact us before returning an order and follow the customs instructions provided.
Where appropriate, the parcel should be clearly declared as “returned goods.” The buyer is responsible for return shipping and for customs charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete return declaration, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Import duties and taxes charged by customs authorities are governed by the rules of the relevant authority and might not be directly recoverable from NIAR HOUSE.
